Said they are having condensed meetings today and take them out to the field for a walk through. Mostly going to go through some of the mental work today and get a real practice tomorrow.
Mentioned how they believe they were in 7 games they could have won the game in the last two minutes last season and won zero...said this year they are focusing on it and in 5 games they've won 3 of these opportunities
Asked if Sherman was cocky, and he said yea, a lot of us are and that we have a chip on our shoulder. Says he have no problem with it
Asked about the use of Kapernik (sp?) and he said he was surprised how much they have been using him this year. Said it adds a whole new dimension and likened it to the wildcat.
Said Kam was a little banged up but is fine...said the only guy that is OUT as of now is Moffit...said McDonald and Maxwell could make it...also said it's POSSIBLE for Thurmond to come back this week but emphasized that without a full week of practice it likely isn't the right week to bring him back. Added they'd make a decision tomorrow.

Sweet. So sounds like Thurmond will be worked into the mix for the Lions game since he'll have 10 days to get ready.
