There are lots of different variables you could factor into the question but I want to leave it as simple as possible to see the variation in replies.

So simply, who is the best football player on the Seahawks current roster?

I think there are 7 or 8 guys who i could make a legit argument for. Most of them are defensive players of course, but at least one guy on offense belongs in the conversation.

Going into the season I would have said it was Earl Thomas. After 5 weeks I think our best player is Brandon Mebane. He's played great this season.

What say you?

Tough call. Marshawn Lynch would be mine but Browner has done some great stuff.

Mebane has been the core of the run defense though and has a devastating effect on the passing game allowing the ends to get pressure because there is no place to step up to.

Lynch on offense for sure.

Defense is tough for me. I'd go with Mebane, but Clemmons has been huge, as well as Browner and Sherman. Those two could both still get better and that's just scary.

No Chris Clemons mentions yet?

Shitt......

Kam is making a say. Earl never gets thrown at, same with Sherm (except for the Rams game). Browner is explosive at making plays happen.

I want to say Brandon Browner. The guy gets beat sometimes but he is a playmaker in every sense of the word. Also first post wooo

I don't know...........I want it to be Russell Wilson as that will mean that we are having success on offense. But right now I gotta go with Marshawn and Sherm.

On offense it would have to be Lynch. On defense it's pretty much everyone, but I personally think that Clemons has made the biggest impact.

The whole defense it really is hard to pick ONE guy, they're like one big machine.

Too many to chose from IMO but I'd have to say Sherman or Clemons on D and Beastmode on O.

I'll say ET because of what he allows the rest of this defense to do. Plus his speed his ridiculous and I'm still in awe of the hit he put on Bradford and how fast he got there.

This. There is a reason his name is rarely called all game. He quietly shuts down the down field option every game

Richard Sherman and Brandon Mebane are complete standouts on the defense, but this is REALLY hard to say.
