From the first drive of the 4th quarter, starting on the CAR 23:

-2nd and 10 at the 23, Turbin run for 3 yard loss
-3rd and 13 at the 26, incomplete pass
Result: Field goal attempt

Of the six sets of downs, we went run-run on 1st and 2nd down three times. Each of those three times resulted in the drives stalling and field goal attempts. Of the six sets of downs, we passed on either 1st or 2nd down three times. Each of those three times resulted in either a 1st down or a touchdown. We gained 10 yards on 9 rushing attempts on 1st and 2nd downs inside the Carolina 30. The first step to fixing the red zone offense is fixing the play calling. If defenses continue stacking the box to stop Lynch in the red zone, that is the time to open it up for the passing game.
