What really took me back is when Matt mentions that you'd turn on ESPN and there wouldn't even be a Seahawks highlight, I remember those days. It's crazy to think that up until the Holmgren/Hasselbeck success days national media coverage was extremely rare. As much as we hate it when the national media talks negative about the hawks, they didn't use to get talked about at all!

So true. Holmgren also says Joe Montana is the reason he was such a good coach. When they first met in SF, he told Coach Holmgren to coach him hard. That philosophy stuck. It served the old walrus well.
