  • LOL again they are late to the party, most this board made those comments after the first week Flucker and Sweezy made their starts.

  • More about both Sweezy and Fluker. Seems like Fluker being there has settled Ifedi too.

  • I wonder what Poccicicicicic at center would look like since that is his natural position.

I am intrigued but hoping we won't find out in game situations. For that to happen, Brit and Hunt would have to go down .... not good.

  • First 2 games with Pocic and Sweezy = 12 sacks.
Next 3 Sweezy and Fluker = 6 sacks and 100yd rusher each game.
Not a good look for Pocic.

  • Pocic looked pretty good before his injury, much improved. Sweezy/Fluker have just been a little better, more experienced, etc.

And it didn't take him 14 games. Amazing what competent coaching can do.

I hoped Pocic would improve a lot during the offseason with the added mass, but he was pretty disappointing.

I know he had the highest run block grade in those first couple games. We just weren't running the ball enough.

I don't think there would be much of a downgrade if Pocic had to enter to the lineup. It's nice to have a backup like that, a former starter, who can play any position.

  • Agreed, our OL depth might be tops in the league... crazy how quickly things can change with the right pieces and coaching.

  • it's been a couple of years, but this line actually inspires some confidence in the run game. solari appears to be doing a great job.

  • With both Britt and Ifedi (knock-on-wood), it took until their 3rd season to really perform well consistently, so I'm not too worried about Pocic at this point. But ya, what nice pickups Sweezy and Fluker were - both bargains.

  • Sweezy is tough and Fluker is a monster so it's made I big difference . Seattle has an offense teams can't stop and is fun to watch if they can keep this going they have a shot at the playoffs. Pete should win coach of the year if they can pull it off.

  • It’s more about Fluker. I think Sweezy or Pocic could man LG but Fluker at RG has made a huge difference.

  • Sweezy has been a big difference, D lineman are not shooting up the inside Gap right away letting Russell at least get a look before he lets the ball go or goes somewhere else.

Yup, Fluker gives us that beefy foward push we've needed for a long time.
