Wilson looked like he was building a rapport with Brown in the preseason and he hasn't done squat since. Disappointing

Maybe if they could play against the Seahawks pass rush all the time they'd be putting up better numbers

I had Brown down for about 500 yards receiving and 4 TD's this year. I greatly overestimated.

250 yards a game is pretty high expectations.

Well, thats why I said 500 yards for the year and not 4000.

My point was you are writing him off as not meeting your expectations when last night was him meeting your expectations yardage wise. He will need to average a whopping 33 yards a game the rest of the season to reach 500 yards. Last night he had 36.

So he's right on pace. Cool.

Jaron was targeted 3 times per game or 9% of all pass attempts, ranked #81/#90, although he was on the field a lot 72.0% of snaps (28.4% slot). I suspect he wasn't getting open. Our current offense problem might improve once Baldwin plays, or another WR steps up. Schotty should reduce Jaron's role and try out other WRs, speed means nothing if a WR can't get off the line or create seperation, his defenders didn't show him much respect --- only giving him a 3.8 yard cushion (#52 rank) and his target separation was only 1.17 yards (#68 rank).

WRs not getting open, or poor route running, could cause the QB to hold on the ball a bit longer. Our OL ain't perfect, our QB might have been told to not run as much, but WRs not getting open could be the main culprit for sacks.

Can someone do a film analyse?

The route concepts used in pre season were getting him open just fine. Now the regular season comes, and nothing.

Curse you pre season for false expectations!!

Some here were saying he'd be better than PRich. The trust he built up with Wilson is hard to replicate in just one season.

I had low expectations when they signed him and he is meeting them. He wasn’t all that great with the Cards.

He wasn’t great with the Cardinals because he had terrible QB play

Palmer was really good a couple years.

Richardson is dead average. Brown certainly has the potential to be better. We haven’t seen it yet ... but it’s been two games.

Exactly. Let’s give him some time, one game at time. Maybe he balls out or he sucks ass, but let’s hope he kills it and proves us wrong.

He's been open a few times over the middle but Russell doesn't seem to throw it much over the middle only outside the hash marks.

It's pretty early yet and the two teams we've played so far have had very strong pass rushes.

True. Which is why I said give it time. I’m sure once he gets settled and understands our complicated offense, he will kill it.
