Perry, a fourth-round pick in 2016 out of Ohio State, appeared in 15 games as a rookie with the San Diego Chargers, starting one game and recording 22 tackles and a forced fumble. Perry, who is 6-foot-4, 253 pounds, spent the 2017 season with the Colts, appearing in two games while spending most of the year on Indianapolis’ practice squad.

Add him to the competition for Bobby’s backup. We need a solid backup MLB and special teamer.

100% camp body. If he couldn't make an impact or get noticed on those two dregs it highly doubtful he will here. Static comparisons to other players is dam near worthless.

^Everything that happens on .NET is probably worthless to the Seattle Seahawks.^

Pointing out his attributes made sense in helping define why he might have appeal to Pete and John. We know they have physical profiles for positions, in many cases.

Long, lanky arms and legs like KJ as mentioned. Better athlete than KJ though, which isn't necessarily saying much being that KJ is a little below average in that category.

Unlike KJ, however, his tapes show a lot of missed reads and false steps. Being a pretty decent athlete doesn't make up ground when his reads are as bad as some that I saw though. If he can get mentally squared away he could be an asset, but he hasn't lasted a full season anywhere he's been so a mental 180 isn't really expected.

‘He was a solid performer in college and has pretty solid athletic ability, with premium size. He was a 4th round pick in 2016 but lost time to injuries and hasn’t exactly lit things up yet, but also hasn’t had the best coaching or team around him in either prior location either. He could be a pretty solid reclamation project or not, The look see price was right, time will tell.
