Well, he played fairly well for us. Not a hugely expensive deal.

Nope, Earl is staying. This is a great deal, he likely could have grabbed more $ elsewhere. As much as people love to shred this front office, maybe it's time to give them a little credit on this one. .02

I really, really wanted to see what they could do with the Kam, Earl, Bradley nickel defense. It's too bad it never really got to take shape last season.

Great deal, guy played very well last year and can play both safety positions. Obviously isn't Earl at FS but we could be in a lot worse shape. Wonder if getting Derwin James at #18 makes sense now to replace Kam in that type of role? (assuming JS doesn't trade back once or twice, which he likely will)

Love this signing. He's not spectacular but very solid and should continue to improve.

Good signing.

Versatile safety that can play both strong and free...........which means we can be much more flexible in the draft and get the best player available (if we lose Earl, holdout, etc).

Wasn’t Carroll just hyping Delano Hill at the combine last week?

Unlike some on NET I would like to see them retain Shead as well.
