Yeah, I guess so...it looks that way. I've only ever heard great things about Barrow, even that he may replace Richard as DC.

I would surmise this was a condition of Ken Norton Jr. taking the job.

I didn't see or hear anything of Michael Barrow's (linebackers coach/assistant head coach/defense) pending departure. Combined with the release of Richard, this would seem to be a rather complete rejection of the 2017 season.

Both Richard and Barrow are going to hot commodities and both potential DCs as the remaining coach-less teams rotate and fill out their staffs. Watch the Patriots - who will lose both OC/DC soon.
