Previous offensive line coaches for Brian Schottenheimer

San Diego Chargers - 2002-2004 - Hudson Houck
San Diego Chargers - 2005 - Carl Mauck
New York Jets - 2006-2007 - Tony Wise
New York Jets - 2008-2011 - Bill Callahan

Bill Ballahan seems to be a good one and not retired.

Thoughts?

Callahan would have been a home run hire. I’d consider Solari a double. His best work was with KC when Priest Holmes was running roughshod through the league.

He was the QB coach in San Diego not the OC.

Looking at those coaches and dates I have a feeling that Bill Callahan and his all-pro O-linemen did more for the Jets O then Schotty did.

I remember thinking in 2010 that the Jets' play calling was excellent. Constantly keeping the defense off balance, gashing them with a wide variety of different looks, and elevating the play of Sanchez.
