All we can do is win the next two and let the chips fall. Makes for good speculation with all of the possibilities with the other teams. The thing is, if we win out only one or two things that are quite probable need to happen for us to get the #2 seed.

When you trail someone in the standings, and if they win out, there is nothing you can do to take the lead.

This article is talking about how we can clinch the #2 seed by week 16.

To get the #2 seed at the end of the season the only thing that needs to happen is us winning our last 2 and Detroit dropping 1 game.

If we win out, the only thing that needs to happen is for Detroit to drop one. No one else can catch us if we win out.

Detroit faces @NY Giants, @Dallas, and hosting GB Packers.

No way do they win out.

The #2 is ours unless we fall apart next week to the Cards or something really crazy happens.

Screw #2. I'm still pulling for #1, which is very doable.
Would we win a tie breaker with the 'Boys?

We win out, Dallas loses out, Detroit drops 1 (obviously cant be vs. Dallas)

That puts us at 11-4-1 and Dallas at 11-5. We get the #1 seed.

We cant possibly tie them unless they tie 1 of their remining 3.

If Cowboys lose out and we win out they would be 11-5 and we would be 11-4-1. We wouldn't need a tiebreaker for the one seed

Good point. 'Boys last two games are not cakewalks.

I like it!! But even if dallas gets the one they aren't winning two playoff games...they either lose in the 2nd round and we host nfccg. Or we go into there and win the nfccg

They've got two playoff teams in Tampa and Detroit, and then the Eagles in Philly. I personally wouldn't favor Dallas in any of those games.

For the past few weeks I feel like its been a foregone conclusion that we would eventually be the #2 seed. For whatever reason, the ending of this season has been very anti-climactic, mainly because I think our path was so obvious. Lions are dropping at least two of their last three games IMO. We are winning out.

By virtue of our tie we are tied with virtually no one.

They'll win the next 2 and the 3rd won't matter.

And that's why you don't make Vegas lines. I'd probably empty my bank account if I could get Dallas as a dog at home to Tampa. Dallas is still really good. They are going to beatdown Tampa, and I expect them to beat the Lions. On the road against Philly won't be easy though. But Dallas will definitely be favored in their remaining three games. Don't get caught up with the week to week of the NFL. They looked bad lats week against NY, but that was one game.

The Cowboys haven't played well for 3 weeks. Their rookies are hitting a wall.

The Lions have won 5 straight. The Bucs have won 5 straight.

They will end the season with 4 straight losses. They are not a good team. They are an average that has played an cupcake schedule and eked out some close wins.
