If Pope shows the intensity that Rawls had shown last year, Michael will be gone in free agency after this year. We need all the money we can to sign some playmakers or extend some of our own players.

Once he cleared waivers, that was the best bet. If we'd wanted him on the active squad, we could have just claimed him off the waiver wire. It's not like he had some huge contract to worry about. Once he cleared waivers he was bound to land on someone's practice squad, and I'm glad it appears to be ours.

People were saying in preseason games, he looked a little bit rough. Now he can learn from our coaching staff what is needed to progress to the next level. He is also insurance that we could use as the running back realm is a little bit thin at the moment.

What's with the Michael hate? He is playing relatively well. He's averaging over 4 YPC and his protection is much improved. All-in-all he's a slightly above average back.

Other then beginning to stumble as soon as he's touched past the line of scrimmage. Does he have a size 15 shoe or something?

Granted, but he's still the best option to receive the majority of carries. Hopefully Prosise shows something and can supplant Michael. Michael is certainly better than Collins, who looks like he's running in glue.
