Should the NFL get rid of the "tie"?

To me?, they be talking out their asses.
Pretty easy to sit behind a table and jaw dismissively, it's quite another to suit up and get the shit kicked out of you for an hour, and it's obvious that most of them have never had an injury because of being exhausted and fighting on...Boxing is a rally good analogy for why you sometimes need to call it a tie.
There is NO shame in fighting to a draw with an opponent, as some days it's all you, some days it's all them.
I always felt that it was chicken crap to have an OT game end with whoever kicked a FG first, and the NFL finally fixed it to giving both sides a shot at scoring in OT, even though sometimes you're going to end in a tie.

I don't see the point. They already play until a winner is decided when it matters (playoffs), and regular-season ties have their role in determining playoff seeding.
