But it took years off my life.

1. Offensive line is only average against average or worse D Lines.

2. Bevell didn't do well but the players did considerably worse on offense. Considerably. This was shades of Carolina last year in the regular season where the self sabotage makes calling anything effective especially if the self sabotage and latent issues with O Line ongoing, it doesn't matter.

3. Our defense is beastly and it is beyond imagination that there is tons of room to improve. Yes, TE seem routes, tackling on occasion but honestly, this team gives us a chance in every single game.

4. Another game that took years off my life. I think have 20 more at this point.

Thought the exact same thing...... although if i were to lean to one side, we should have lost that one. Defense really held down the fort when it mattered. Such a strange game. I'll take the tie (up two still over Arizona!)

Yep, yep. Defense and special teams were outta this world good. Offense was almost completely ineffective against a defense that was almost as good as ours. Too many missed opportunities on both sides of the ball. As fitting a game for a tie as any.

But man oh man, my heart!

I just don't buy the penalties story for Bevell. This marks numerous games where we have been completely out of sorts and unable to adjust at all. That pass to kearse should have happened early and often. That's the kind of quick drop throw that softens coverage and wears down blitzers. So where is it at when the walls crumble down?. Are we physically incapable of motioning Jimmy from one side to the other to isolate him for a three step drop slant?. It's nearly impossible to get a sack or hold the defender in that kind of offense. Are we so afraid of running anything resembling a WCO that it's constant over thinking in games like this???
