Kam Chancellor listed as questionable on injury report

The Essential Online Seattle Football Fan Forum Community. There simply is NO substitute. LANGUAGE RATING: PG-13
  • Both he and Garrison Smith were surprise additions to the injury report. Both listed as questionable.

    OUT:
    Rawls
    Jefferson

    QUESTIONABLE:
    Clark
    Prosise
    Smith
    Chancellor

We'll wait and see on Pete's Presser for the details. Listed as a groin injury (for Chancellor). Ugh.

  • Jefferson is out? That kind of surprises me. Isn't the injury a thumb? I thought for DL they usually just wrapped the heck out of the hand and they were good to go.

  • I was just coming to post the injury report. I'm sure Pete will address the injuries in his press conference.

    Pete's updates

Kam got hurt in yesterday's practice - game time decision.
Frank got hurt in Monday's practice. According to Pete, Frank says he feels good, but Pete said 'we'll see' - game time decision
    Tyler is back
    Garrison should be fine
CJP got a new 'contraption' on his hand but sounds like Pete will hold him out this week.

I think he had been playing with a club, but in Pete's early week presser, he said Quinton had surgery and it might be couple weeks recovery.

I think this might be it. Belicheck would have the whole team listed as Questionable if he could.

  • He will play. Graham was listed questionable last week and played. Remember the league removed probable this year. I actually like Mccray better in pass coverage if it comes down to it.

The injuries they got could have happened in their homes.

Maybe we do more hitting in practice than most teams? :stirthepot:

    That can't be.

    It's illegal.

    We'd be fined for it.

Pete knows this and wouldn't push the envelope like that.

I'm joking. I was referencing Worthlessberger's comments that the Stealers have more injuries because they hit harder in practice.

And I should have posted a :sarcasm_off: sign at the end since we have been penalized for it, but figured the paragraph structure would inform people of my tone.

  • Who cares whether Kam toughs it out or not? He's a liability with a pulled groin. Best choice is to go with MCcray.

I think most of us are hoping his injury isn't that bad and his toughing it out would be better than McCray playing in his place.

  • My guess both will play, and Pete is feeding the Falcons some good ole fashion Pacific Red Herring, let Dan think their not playing and let him prepare his guys for alternative players right up and until game time. Pete is pretty good at messing with the other coaches minds.
