CB Tye Smith back on the p-squad

The Seahawks made a practice squad roster move on Thursday, re-signing cornerback Tye Smith and releasing defensive end Tylor Harris. Smith, a 2015 fifth-round draft pick of Seattle's, was one of 17 players waived on the team's roster cutdown to 53 players this past Saturday. The 6-foot, 195-pound Towson product was inactive on the Seahawks' 53-man roster for much of his rookie season, playing in three games on special teams only, with his first action coming in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears.
