RBs Lined Up As WRs Today

Watching the game a second time, I've never noticed our RBs split wide as WRs as often as they were today. Lynch lined up wide several times; Michael did at least once. I wonder if we saw something on film? It sure didn't work.

It was probably an attempt to flood the pattern with receivers to encourage Carolina to respond with a nickel set because their base set was kicking our ass. Also gives Wilson an outlet target if he needs to get rid of the ball quickly.

Could have been that we didn't want to sub if we were running up tempo or we were trying to force defensive personnel decisions
