Kent Downtown Partnership introduces their first HAWKtoberfest Car Show & Beer Garden, Saturday, October 24th, 9am to 4pm.
Our car show is unique in that only vehicles that are painted or wrapped or have some form of Seahawks graphics can enter the competition. Those interested in being in the car show should arrive by 7:30 AM. Registration starts at the corner of Meeker & Railroad Avenues. Please enter Meeker Street, West, from Central Avenue. There is a $20 entry fee and pre-registration is recommended.
Celebrity appearances by Mr. & Mrs. Seahawk, Norb.CAM, and possibly Big Lo and a couple Sea Gals. All this is happening in historic downtown Kent from 9 to 3 PM; the beer garden, ($2 entry fee) opens at 11 AM and closes at 4 PM."
