Jackson is their 3rd down back, though I have also noticed Rawls make some really nice blocks. Using Jackson instead of Rawls means they can go seamlessly from running to passing, which benefits them in the hurry up mode that they prefer at the end of games.

Idk but I'm assuming Rawls was gassed? Idk

Rawls did look gassed, but Jackson is hurt and obviously not at 100% so I'm not sure I understand Pete's thought process.

Rawls was gashing Cincy's D all day, why not try him in overtime? Especially after punting the last 6 possessions, continuing to do the same thing is stubborn.

Rawls should have been in there. Fred was courageous playing on that ankle, but Rawls scared the Cincy defense, which would have opened up the passing game. Stupid Move

Jackson is the back when Seattle goes to it's hurry up offense. Pete & Bevell wanted to use the hurry up offense at the start of overtime which is why Jackson was out there instead of Rawls.
