We cannot convert short yardage

We get 3rd and 3 , 3rd and 2 or 3rd and 4 - and we have no idea how to overcome it.

Our first downs have to be on 2nd down (first is a run for from 2 to 5).

That is on the OC.

I find it hard to even watch 3rd and short anymore. It is painful.

Actually, Rawls converted several of these today, my friends and I remarked on it several times. It was the passing on short yardage that killed us. The 3rd and 4 with an empty backfield in the 4th was a fantastic show of incompetence from Bevell.
