Ugh...last weeks game definitely had better results for the defense. But you can argue that giving up only 3pts to Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Tate is more impressive than shutting out the Bears offense.

-top 5 scoring defense
-lead the league in first downs allowed
-least penalized team in the league

Lack of pass rush and turnovers is not going to cut it against that Cincy OL and those receivers. Dalton is below mortal in the face of pressure and we can't get one sack against Matthew freaking Stafford. That does not bode well for a repeat dominant performance.

Our offense has scored more against us than our opponents the last 2 games..how pathetic is that

We're not planning to win the sack contest. The Lions have great receivers and still ran very few slow developing plays. Look at their boards and their fans are freaking out about their play calling being all short quick stuff. It's like when the other team pooch kicks it to avoid your returner. Sure, you might not have gaudy return stats but you will win the game with great field position and who cares what people who only look at stat lines think.
