Time to ditch zone blocking and go more traditional, if yes can Cable and Bevell adjust the offense to implement it ?

There is nothing wrong with the blocking scheme. Its a great scheme IMO when you have the right people coaching it and drafting the talent.

But it seems we don't so it's a big decision. Either way something has to change quickly because our schedule is just insane and both Arizona and St. Louis seem pretty serious about winning the division.

The quickest and easiest change would be to return to most of last year's offensive line but with Nowak swapped for Unger.

Last year we subbed Bailey for Carpenter when he was hurt, and Bailey was an OK pass blocker at left guard where he protected Russ's blind side. So how about okung and Bailey on the left side to pass protect Russ's blind side, to decrease the sacks there. Britt's feet were to show last year to pass block at right tackle, I believe by consensus here, so why does anyone believe that his feet will be quicker at left guard? He just gets a
smaller space to protect there.

Try Okung- Bailey-Nowak-Sweezy-Gilliam to decrease the sacks. Maybe play Britt at right tackle moving Gilliam to right end outside of Britt to help him.
