Yeah, i've not really felt my opinion was necessary on Kam. But it's hard to agree with Irving here.

Figure something out for one of your best players.

NFL network needs more ex-coaches and front office guys as commentators, especially when discussing salary cap issues.

Also, whenever an ex-player says they should just "pay the man" they need to say which players they would cut to free up the money.

Video is blocked for me. Can someone do a breakdown?

"Hes the backbone of that team", "Certain players need to come before policy" , "Pay the man", "Whats a salary cap? We never worried about that in Dallas :sarcasm_on: ?" etc. etc.

Yup. Let me know when some of these players or talking heads have to run a business other than mouthing off. Their answer is almost always pay the man. It's easy cause they don't have to deal with the repercussions of what they advocate (deal with a salary cap, deal with who else to cut, etc).

At one point during Gameday Irvin was making one of his obnoxious points and Faulk asked, "Is that tie Versace?" That was it. Irvin lost his train of thought and just smiled and played with his tie. That's all you need to know about Irvin.

He's right. This team is screwed without KC. 1-3 to start the season if he continue's to hold out. Book it.

And that's why Irvin is doing highlights on NFLN and not in a front office.

This is a man who stabbed his tight end because he felt he should have gotten a hair cut first..... He almost killed him.

- Why, WHY did Kam sign a contract with numbers he wasn't happy about in the first place?

- Where is that money coming from?

- What prevents him to hold out in a couple years to ask for more money?

Nothing, but if Kam holds out past week 10 then he doesn't get credit for this year on his contract. Which means he not only loses this year's salary, has to pay all the fines, has to give back a pro-rated portion of his bonus...........but most importantly he will have three years left on his deal next year.

Dude be F'd every which way from Sunday if he continues this nonsense.

Absolutely!

Let Mr. Irvin tell us how would he make the necessary moves to "pay the man" and avoid every player to do the same thing Kam is doing.
