This ain't a link about holdouts nor contracts, but I can't de-couple them completely. My apologies.
PLEASE DO NOT DISCUSS PLAYERS HOLDING OUT, DISCUSS COACHING STYLES

I would like to dicuss Carroll's alleged handing the coaching dirty work off on a player, any player. Pete comes across as all hugs and love and positive energy, but some times you need to kick a players a$$ sometimes... this story alleges that Pete delegates this work to a player.

What do you think about this alleged coaching style?

It's common sense. A coach has his leaders on teams and they expect them to straighten things out in the locker room n on the field. This is just stupid article.

Pete is not all hugs and kisses. He will lay down the hammer at times--he just does it in a more positive manner without ranting and raving like a lunatic.

He also allows his OC, DC and position coaches to get on a guy's case when it's really needed.

And yes, he expects team leaders to lead in the locker room.
