Really no reason to. These guys will be lucky to pull in a few offers as free agents, let alone get any substantial contracts. We're better off letting them test the market and trying to upgrade the positions and bring them back later if absolutely necessary.

Walters provided no value at all other than being able to call for a fair catch. I am surpised that he has lasted this long. I would like to see Lockette back, but for some reason I think we have seen the last of him. Schilling I thought did an admirable job until he got injured

Bevell has it out for Lockette. This is fact.

Can you elaborate please?

Google "bevelle ricardo lockette". It's too painful for me to look further.

He's been in and out of rosters his entire career. This isn't the first time we have let him go. Doesn't mean he won't find his way back. If he doesn't I will definitely miss watching him playing the gunner on ST. That dude laid some serous licks on people.

Great ST gunner, but proven that he can't be relied on to make catches when the chips are down.
BUT, he's not completely to blame for Bevell's crap-call either, nor was it advisable for Wilson to throw with that much of a lead.

IMHO, Ricardo is erratic with his game day routes. Sometimes he doesn't explode. Sometimes he will slip out of top gear and sometimes he he will flat out quit on a play. I think Russell Wilson and Kippy Brown and Darrell Bevell have done a remarkable job helping Lockette remain relevant on offense. I would have liked to have seen Lockette produce better results.

Schilling and Walters are both home town players. I am not expecting them to leave town.

Schilling wasn't eligible. He's an Unrestricted Free Agent

Bob Condotta just clarified that Schilling was never a RFA this offseason. He was non-tendered last year so he has always been a UFA this offseason.

Doesn't really change anything, but whatever.

Lockette is a great gunner, would think he'd stay on as a #5 WR just for that. Who knows. Maybe this means we get 2-3 WR's in FA and the draft. That would be nice.

Lockette was in fact tendered. Condotta just issued a corrected statement.

Lockette is a good ST player. We should keep him. He improved as a WR ...
