The replay of last year's superbowl was just what the Dr. ordered. Amazing how much faster our defense was last year compared to our play in this year's superbowl. I think we were worn out which is another reason it's so dang hard to repeat. I also think we lost a bit of an edge because of our secondary being banged up which leads to a question I have going into next year which is, will Pete continue to play starters on special teams? I think it's taking a toll on guys unnecessarily as the season progresses.

OP makes a good point regarding starters on special teams. I get The idea of playing your best regardless. However, minimizing the number of hits some of our defensive guys take is a good idea for keeping this championship window open as long as possible.

Offensive hits as well. I think we could upgrade somewhere along the line here too. Not sure who yet...but thinking so. Go Hawks.

49ers-Ravens immediately after isn't a bad dessert item either
