I don't care how bad our O line play supposedly is. 1 play out of every series Mr Wilson, stand in the pocket and either throw the ball or take the sack.

You're not a running back and it's getting harder to watch you play right now.

Stand in the pocket and....get sacked?
This scrambling qb is getting old...but keeping our hopes alive. Where is our running threat without RW?

QB rating of 121.6, and it's getting old? Really?

Wilson's best game of the year and he had under 200 yards throwing and 6 sacks and you want to point out his Qb rating?

Well we could go with his 9.4 YPA, his td, his 70+ complt%, his 73 yard rushing, etc. The point was to point out the OP, that he is wrong. You do not stand in the pocket, when there is one, just to stand there. You stay there as long as you can, and if no one is open you leave when you have to and make plays. That is what a duel threat QB gives you. Without RWs running we loose to day period

Realistically, it was a pretty funny post.

Any more "standing in the pocket" and 6 sacks could have doubled.

I think "how about taking advantage of a hot read when they blitz?" would be a better question. But many times there may not have been time for even that.

Russel played very well today and blaming him for six sacks is down right idiotic.

QB is almost always responsible for at least some sacks.

Using simple arithmetic I've determined for you that 211 is indeed OVER 200 yds. (Just in case you'd like to revise your post for accuracy.)
Not to pick nits but at times your posts are lousy. I.e. "Wilson's best game of the year".. it was not.

Exactly, Wilson was getting time today, he just wasn't getting rid of the ball, at least two of those sacks could be directly attributed to Wilson.

I will grant you that some times that is the case but I remember one sack that was on Russ and it was a loss of two yards when no one was open. he should have thrown it away. other than that he was really really good today. His line was not, especially in the first half.

When Russel got time he delivered the ball. So yeah he got a few good pockets but that doesn't negate the fact his pocket was collapsing immediately on almost half the pass plays(not counting screens either).

You realize that QBs that constantly throw the ball away find it difficult to run for 73 yards and pick up crutial first downs, right?
