did my live draft last night for my 12 person league and was very pleased!
very competitive league with knowledgable guys for the most part so I was stoked to snag some homers and other people I had in mind ahead of time
GO SEAHAWKS!!!
Notes:
Seahawks D was the second D picked :179422:
T.O. and Braylon went before Rice :hmmmm: (technically they haven't even made the team yet)
Flynn went in the 14th round to a stealers fan
and check out the drunk idiots' teams on either side of mine HA!
on the left that is Jacoby Ford in the 5th, Gerhart 6th, and he actually drafted the Cards D :34853_doh:

Nice drafts guys! I see we share some homer picks...
Both of your receiver cores look real nice!
I wanted the Hawks D so bad but they went before the big defense rush that always gets everyone picking D's in the same round haha

No kicker either?

Yeah no kickers either.

And I think my team is ok, but I am really worried about my WRs.

I see some upside there, although Jackson can be frustrating at times...at least he was for me last year

Oh and my team name is always Olympia Lowlifes

Just got back from an absurd live draft (15 rounds) with some very silly individuals.

Highlights of the night:
1) Arian Foster went 5th overall (Rodgers, Rice, Brees, Calvin Johnson went before him)
2) The same player who took Rodgers first overall went on to take: 49ers defense with the first pick of the 3rd round, David Akers with the first pick of the 5th round, and Kenny Britt with the first pick of the 7th round
3) A player taking 4 RBs with his first 4 picks (in a league that only starts 2 RBs), and then gloating about it (because hey, people will trade him a player he missed out on drafting for one of his RBs.)

Keeping in mind that the 49ers D went at the top of the THIRD ROUND, and many people took D in round 6-8, I got the Seattle defense at the end of the 12th round, Tom Brady in the 2nd round, and Andre Johnson in the 3rd round.

:thirishdrinkers:

Edit: I awoke this morning to the gentleman who drafted 4 RBs offering me Lynch (picked #10 overall) for Vincent Jackson (picked by me in the 7th round).

Just finished the auction draft in the online keeper league I'm in. We have a $200 draft budget and we can keep three players from the year before with a small increase to their cost. Here's what I ended up with.

QB: Matt Ryan $17 (K), Robert Griffin III $15
RB: Marshawn Lynch $18 (K), Willis McGahee $24, Ryan Williams $1, Rashad Jennings $5
WR: Hakeem Nicks $41, Steve Smith $31, Pierre Garcon $9, Darrius Heyward-Bey $8
TE: Rob Gronkowski $27 (K), Jermaine Gresham $1
K: Dan Bailey $1
DT: Packers $1

Why would you spend 41 on Hakeem nicks? Dude can't stay healthy
Because I had 0 receivers at that point and he was the only one left that was ranked in my top 12.

Good thing you didn't have to scrape the bottom of the barrel and settle for the 13th or 14th ranked guy

The only other receiver in my top 20 that was still available was Steve Smith. I got him, too.
