This is Exhibit A as to why Mack Brown was fired and replaced by a head coach who produced THREE FIRST-ROUNDERS this year.

Mack Brown always struggled with player development. Given the talent he had at Texas, you'd think there'd be more impact players from Texas in the NFL than there are. Earl Thomas being the exception of course.

Their coaching has been lousy for quite a few years. Poor O play, slowly getting weaker and weaker defensively too. It will take them a few seasons to be good again.

Think Jeffcoat was undrafted b/c of his screwed up shoulders, maybe their better after his last surgery, but think there was reason why all 32 team let him slip given his athletic ability. His ow lift totals when taken at a n average for his position would cause his SPARQ score to be much higher and way up there.

He will be kept even if he gets a medical redshirt on IR as his athleticism and SPARQ scores are really high. Too much potential to let slip if he doesn't flat out make the team.

Horrible recruiting. There was a list of QB in state they hadnt recruited and it went back to before the McCoy era. Pretty much since VY. Two off the top of my head are Johnny and Jameis. Both have said they would have gone there had they been recruited. Jameis high school coach sent tape after tape basucally begging UT to take a look and recruit him. Your staff should have been all over that.
