De'Anthony Thomas injured on the opening kickoff. Looked like a pretty nasty ankle sprain.

Man, 99% of the Dawg fans on this board are awesome. You and Dawgs0 are Doogs. Even the announcers are saying it was a perfectly legal and good block.

Ducks with 3 TDs with 7 minutes left in the 1st quarter in this ridiculous wind and rain.

Just mentally tougher than other teams.

God Cal is terrible.

Dude, taking out a guys shins is not legal, especially when it was a helmet lead. I want you guys to win this game and know you will - but C'mon man. Thats BS.

You are the only team playing Cal this week. Perspective please?

Weather not a factor for the Ducks. Just too mentally tough.

Yeah, Oregon Ducks defy physics. In fact, they can play on Venus.

Arizona didn't even have a Qb that would start for most d 2 schools. I know you guys are UW homers, but seriously that kid is the worst PAC 12 Qb I've seen since OS in the mid 90s.

Their QB's and passing game certainly are better then Arizona.

Cal's D is awful though. And there running game is pretty much non existant.

LMFAO, just no... Stop being a homer.

AP Poll says:

Dropped from rankings: Arizona State 23

Others receiving votes: Arizona State 41, Georgia Tech 30, Maryland 24, UCF 19, Nebraska 13, Northern Illinois 9, Arizona 8, Virginia Tech 4, Michigan State 3, Missouri 2, Navy 1, Rutgers 1

I do not see Cal there, dude. 0 votes for your thoughts.

I'm not a UDub homer, I would've told you that before today, two weeks ago, whatever. They are the worst original 10 Pac team, period, end of story. Cal's awful.

CP is feeling nsecure about running up the score during conference play now, for some reason. No shame in throttling conference foes, CP, none at all.

Oregon blowing out opponents isn't a huge deal. It's basically expected at this point.

What is impressive is holding a pretty good offense to 110 total yards so far and 0pts. This is a Cal team that put up 550 yards on #17 Northwestern and another 500 on #4 Ohio State. This is a good offense that's been totally dominated, and the backup QB is already in.

Complete domination.

No.

Stanford's been a top 5 program the past 4 years. They're tough.

Why do all Doogs seem to live vicariously through Stanford?

There's not a Duck fan that I know that takes Stanford likely or assumes victory over them.

Its in jest really... We managed to beat them at home, you managed to lose to them at home. :)

Why do all Duck fans hand out jabs at us and fail to take them back in stride?

Washington isn't physical enough to beat Oregon. I watched Carey run through tackles all day today. For as much talk as there was about Bishop, Carey arguably had the better game. And he got those yards with a QB that could barely complete a pass. Imagine Mariota back there throwing to Oregon's really good receiving core.

Washington just doesn't have the players on defense to stop Oregon like Stanford does.

Another overlooked fact is Stanford is going to beat up Washington the week before Washington plays Oregon, while Oregon has a bye wee.... I mean plays Colorado in Eugene.

UW fans really don't pay attention at all. UO has had zero problems with hurry up spreads. You all might want to go to the two tight ends with big physical olineman for the UO game. Oh and having a dominant DL would help also.

In all honesty and I'm not trying to be a dick, or trying to be that "cocky Duck fan". But Duck fans are not worried about UW. Nor will we be that impressed when we beat you. I'm sure the team will take them very seriously just as they do every opponent, but we the fans are not concerned with you. You do everything exactly like we do, and you do it not as well. Your new offense fits perfectly into our defensive strengths. We will beat you by 13+ points for the 10th year in a row.

You can keep pounding your chest all you want about "we're back" and "do it against somebody who matters", but to us..... you don't matter. Beating you is getting routine and boring.

Before you go to your standard reply: Yes, I know you beat Stanford last year and we lost to them. Good job.

I kind of view Washington like I have viewed Arizona St the past few years.

That said the season is all about Stanford. They're the team that has the attention of Oregon fans.

I know in any given pro sport, an owner, like Mr. Allen, is only allowed to own one team. But how about college? I ask because it would sure be cool if Phil could buy our team, too.
