  • Mariota's speed, such an advantage on that.

Great D, but he's still able to make the 1st down.

I think he's a little bit slower Percy Harvin. Way more power and moves running the ball then Welker has, imo.

    Bow Down.

Still plenty of time before the half though, and UW gets it to start the 2nd half. They're still very much in it.

  • UW's defense kind of reminds me of the Seahawks last season. Theyr'e very good. They fly to the ball and hit hard. But they're really hurt by a lack of pass rush. That's the one thing they're missing, imo.

Oh yeah, this guy. (And Snohomie)

Huskies can't become one dimensional in the pass because their O-line can't hack it. Also, nice of the Huskies to talk down Oregon's physicality. That's not working so well for them, huh?

  • Sark's play calling has been abysmal on the offensive side of the ball. The guy is waaaaaaayyyyy over-rated as a playcaller.
Predictable runs for little or no gain on 1st and second down along with WR screens that are not working aint going to cut it. Need to let the downfield passing game open up the running game. If they keep calling the same crap, they'll lose by 35.

It's not just the coaches, it's the players that strike some similarities. Receivers not getting separation, offensive line not consistent in pass blocking, defensive line unable to get consistent pressure.

We're on the same page. Both good and bad, coached and under-coached, the resemblance uncanny. But it ain't all bad.

Are they going to let Charlie Davis call the 2nd half? The guy reports like he's tutoring housewives watching their first game. And that's when he's got his A game going.

I cant tell if you are just chest beating or what, but the zeros playcalling on offense is top notch and UW's is severely lacking, and Oregon's players fit their system better than UW's....... And it kills me to say that as a UW fan. I'm not sold on Keith Price yet, though he is better than last year.

  • Being a Duck and Seahawk fan, I see a lot of resemblance between the two d. Bend but don't break, built around workman like LB, unheralded DL and arguabley the top secondaries in college and NFL.

Pac-12 blog on espn: "What you see from press box is Price looking downfield and seeing all his WRs blanketed in white. Ducks have best secondary in country."
