LOL I feel bad for English. Almost all his draft related writing this off-season was based around the 1st round pick. Now he's got to dig even DEEPER in this draft. Stay strong, Rob!

That's why I didn't publish a mock, I knew we were going to trade for Percy

That and I don't know shit about the draft

There was a 98% chance everyone was missing the 1st round pick anyway.

This is why I always chuckle at mock drafts before FA begins. So much changes in a hurry.

This is exactly why you wait to see what happens in free agency before doing a mock...

Free agency and the draft are connected. It's almost pointless doing a mock until mid-April.

I don't know anyone who is definitely trying to 'guess the draft' when they do a mock. Even in April. Most are just for fun or to create talking points in a long off-season. I chuckle at the snobbery attached to mock drafts.

Mock drafts are about valuing players and their fits not so much nailing exactly were they go. They are fun to read and follow and generate some off season talk nothing more really.

And sooooooo many people thought our FA period would be a dud. Funny sh*t. Everyone is so smart around here. I was actually hoping we would trade up to get Cordarelle Patterson...but we went one better than that even. Love it.

I assumed you all were smart enough to figure out it was a tongue in cheek post.

Indeed. It's so funny, you've had to post it in multiple threads!

I didn't get our 1st Rd. Pick Wrong -- I DID have it being traded (j/k) ;)

Yeah ... this is why in so many ways I hate doing mocks prior to FA and really try to hold off on any kind of prediction until closer to April 26th. Shoulda listed to that little voice before putting that one out there.

Yea wtf? If mocks are so useless, why do so many people make so much money doing them?

Oh well. I had Austin going to Seattle in my latest at #25. I had a feeling Seattle was looking for an ultra quick slot type to be our Wes Welker. Now we just need to find our version of Randy Moss.
