Each of the 32 picks is worth 2 possible points. One for the player, one for the spot. If the team moves up to a different spot to pick the player, you still get a point. If a player goes at the spot you predicted, but to the wrong team, because of a trade, you get a point.

my Seahawks 20: Sio Moore, Reid Fragel, Everett Dawkins,Duke Williams, Mychal Rivera,Brandon Kaufman,Melvin White,Marquess Wilson,Jeffrey Nady,Dion Sims,Manase Foketi,Mark Harrison,Jordan Mills,Phillip Steward,Sean Renfree,Abry Jones,Malliciah Goodman,Kyle Long,Q. Patton, Terrance Williams.

Mock Draft:

1) KC- Luke Joeckel- a safe pick for andy reid and i think they trade their LT Albert.
2)JAC- Eric Fisher- PC picked a stud LT his first draft so i think the philosophy has rubbed off on Gus.
3)ARZ-Lane Johnson- they move up to get a tackle.
4)PHI- Dion Jordan- missed out on johnson so they take what they know.
5)DET-Ziggy Ansah- need pass rush with the loss of their DE's.
6)CLE-Dee Millner- they got their CB.
7)OAK-Shariff Floyd- moved back becuase they were the only ones gonna take him.
8)BUF-Tavon Austin- they need players to pair with S. Johnson and they can get a QB in the 2nd rd plus with spiller it shows they are not scared to take a lil guy w/alot of speed.
9)NYJ-Chance Warmack- Jets need all the o-lineman they can get Mangold can't hike the ball and block everybody.
10)TEN-Johnathan Cooper- you need a decent O-line to get the most out of your QB.
11)SD- Menelik Watson-they need a LT in the worst way but all the top guys are gone so they push up Watson to fill a major need.
12)MIA- Xavier Rhodes- did'nt get the top OT's but they got the second best CB i think they trade with KC.
13)NYJ-Barkarvious Mingo- i thought about trufant but they take 3-4 OLB w/alot speed to rush the passer.
14)CAR-STAR Lotulelei- probably the most NFL ready DT in the draft.
15)NO-Jarvis Jones-he's the best 3-4 OLB available.
16)STL-Kenny Vaccaro- they need a safety that can do it all.
17)Pitt-Damontre Moore- they need a 3-4 OLB.
18)DAL-Sheldon Richardson- all the top lineman are gone so they take a 3tech for their switch to a 4-3.
19)NYG-DJ Fluker- giants need O-line help.
20)CHI-Arthur Brown- they need a replacement for urlacher and Brown is probably the best ILB in the draft.
21)CIN- Alec Ogletree-Cincy don't have a problem taking players with red flags.
22)STL- C. Patterson- they need a WR that is physical and can stretch the field.
23)MIN- Justin Hunter- they need a WR that can stretch the field for AP.
24)IND- Datone Jones- they need 3-4 d-lineman.
25)MIN-Bjoern Werner- they need pass rush help for J. Allen
26)GB-Tyler Eifert- GB only has Finley for one year so they take a player that can do his job.
27)HOU- Robert Woods- would be a great complementary reciever with A. Johnson
28)DEN-C.Carradine- they need help rushing the passer with the loss of Dumervil.
29)NE- Jamar Taylor- Pats still need CB help.
30)ATL-Desmond Trufant- they lost their starting CB's so they gotta take a day 1 starter.
31)SF- Margus Hunt- they need d-line help and Hunt is a big versatile player who can play a few positions.
32)BAL-Manti Te'o- they need to find help up the middle so they take Te'o speed is not as big of a deal in baltimore.

What's Up Seahawks Fans?

Although we do not have a first round pick, I think we had the best offseason in the league, and I believe we will win the Super Bowl next year.

Harvin. Abraham. Bennett. Winfield. We are going to be ridiculous. Plus still room to improve in the draft.

I found this really interesting mock draft, two rounds, what do you guys think??

Dang! I've been caught up in school. I'm assuming it's too late to submit a mock for this contest for the prize?

I unofficially won this last year. No prize except for this heavy belt I've been carrying around all year. Let's see if I can make it two in a row.

Honestly, haven't paid a ton of attention to the first round the year since Seattle doesn't have a first rounder. But I'll throw out a mock anyways. I think there will be a lot of trading around, including perhaps several teams trading out of the back end of the first for teams looking to get a QB, but did not predict any here. I probably should put a QB in the Patriots spot at the least.

This is my No Teo and No QB first round mock draft! It most definitely wont go down like this.

1. KC: Luke Joeckel
2. JAX: Sharrif Floyd
3. OAK: Barkevious Mingo
4. PHI: Dion Jordan
5. DET: Eric Fisher
6. CLE: Chance Warmack
7. ARI: Ezekiel Ansah
8. BUF: Jon Cooper
9. NYJ: Dee Milliner
10. TEN: Kenny Vacarro
11. SD: Lane Johnson
12. MIA: Xavier Rhodes
13. NYJ: DJ Fluker
14. CAR: Star Lotulelei
15. NO: Larry Warford
16. STL: Tavon Austin
17. PIT: Jarvis Jones
18. DAL: Eric Reid
19. NYG: Carradine Cornellius
20. CHI: Kevin Minter
21. CIN: Alex Ogletree
22. STL: Matt Elam
23. MIN: Sheldon Richardson
24. IND: Bjoern Werner
25. MIN: Cordarrelle Patterson
26. GB: Barret Jones
27. HOU: DeAndre Hopkins
28. DEN: Datone Jones
29. NE: Jon Hankins
30. ATL: Tyler Eifert
31. SF: John Cyprien
32. BAL: DJ Swearinger

Seahawks picks:
Khaseem Greene, Sio Moore, Zavier Gooden, Jelani Jenkins, Bennie Logan, Brandon Williams, Stefan Charles, TJ McDonald, Duke Williams, Shawn Williams, Gavin Escobar, Travis Kelce, Michael Williams, Ryan Swope, Terrance Williams, Aaron Mellette, Denard Robinson, Mark Harrison, Jordan Rodgers, Christine Michael

You mean "per the rules" only those who completed their picks BEFORE NOON Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday April 24th, correct? Thanks for the clarification.

There were rules? I don't read rules so gud.

I got my picks in before the draft started. Who needs deadlines?

Well... if this fun contest is going to be legit, any submissions or changes after Noon - PST - on April 24th (day before the draft as the original post states), should be automatically dismissed. That was stated WEEKS ahead of time. (See original post) The thing about the draft is it becomes much clearer hours leading up to the draft. It's easy to listen to everything get clearer hours leading up to the draft. That's what made this tough is the deadline. I see many who have edits today. I would have loved to go in and make changes after that stated Deadline, but did not due to the upfront understanding of parameters. Since I live on the east coast... I stated my last edit time within the parameters b/c my last edit time is recorded in EST.
I have no idea of how I'm fairing (and this draft went haywire with all the trades). So, not lobbying for myself here. Just stating that rules are rules. If the rules mattered not... why did some of us even bother?

Let me know when a winner is announced. I will PM them to make arrangements to get the tickets sent to them, either e-mail or snail mail of the paper copy.

Who won?
Everyone should post how many points they got to get a winner. I had 16 points

Good idea. Honor system delegation. I later noticed mine were submitted after the time deadline. Thus, 0 points. :D

Well it said all the picks were locked after yours, so I think yours should still count

My expectation is that Scott will tally the results and verify the winner met his stated rules. Once he tells me who won, then I will make arrangements with the winner once the season tickets are delivered to me from the Seahawks. It is better this way, so there are no misunderstandings. Doesn't hurt to know your own score but Scott is running this so we need his final judgement.

That way I don't have conflicting PMs asking me who won. I don't know all the zany rules Scott came up with so cannot help you.

This has been a public service announcement.

I will have results Monday. I have no intention of staring at my computer today. Anyone who submitted after the deadline may get bragging rights, but nothing else. I know i sure as hell wanted to change my draft when I got news of who the Chiefs were taking, but could not. Sorry if you were on the wrong side of that deadline. If you were here last year, you know why the deadline exists.

Once again, thanks Doc for the prize of prizes.

As per the rules in the OP, all mocks submitted by noon the day before the draft, the winner is Team of the Century with 5 spot on picks and two bonus points for getting Hawks player selections. A couple of you (hasselbeck, 875) did better in late submittals as per your last edit timestamp, but rules is rules. Any of you going by J's cut off thread are SOL, you didn't know anything about his unofficial cutoff before you posted, so going by it afterwards is bogus. The OP said noon, Wednesday. Last year we went right up til draft time, and a verbatim mock from Rick Gosselin kind of made a mockery of our mocks. Thus, the rules. Mocks the day of rely more on inside info leaking than anything else.

Team of the century, post me your addrss and I will get you your card. I can't speak for Diags, but I am sure a PM to him will get you tickets. Good job. Start saving for your plane tickets, dude.

To all applicants, thanks for playing, and this was the toughest draft yet to forecast. I noticed many of us were a spot off on damn near everything.

There is always next year... (also, double check your scores, 2 for every perfect pick, one for every correct player to correct team in the wrong draft slot, and one for every pick of the Hawks you got right, my brain gets pretty confused staring at the screen for an hour)

Thanks Scott for running this. TOTC, PM me your snail mail address and an e-mail address. I will mail you the tickets once I get them. I rather not have to use the Will Call to send you the tickets but if that is your preference, I will use your e-mail address to automate that. As mentioned, I am leaning toward the Rams as the game, but starting to think Jaguars (hee hee .. I am a jerk!). I think the tickets show up around Aug 1st or so.

EDIT: Oops, just saw that TOTC is traveling. We can talk if you were thinking Rams.

Thanks to Scottemojo and drdiags. I certainly didn't expect to win and I'm very appreciative. I don't think I'll be bragging as it was actually quite humbling to try to put all the names together. I started to over think it before the deadline and changed one pick I shouldn't have before the deadline - Jarvis Jones to Pitt - b/c there was talk of their interest in a DB. I almost didn't enter (and nearly deleted my entry) because I was thinking there would be too many trades and difficult to project the entire first round of other teams. I was just more interested in prospects that could be on the Seahawks radar. So, I'm most satisfied about getting 3 of those correct (Ty Powell, Jared Smith, Christine Michael). I loved watching Texas A&M last season - mostly for Manziel, but Christine Michael also got my attention. I wasn't thinking RB for Seattle until after they released Leon Washington. I was thinking they could be looking at backs like Michael or Latavius Murray (who played at nearby UCF and was drafted by the Raiders.) Probably as most of you, I figured Michael might be in play after seeing that tweet of his interest in the Hawks. That was enough suspicion for me to at least list him in the 20. I didn't see links between either T. Powell or J. Smith and the Hawks - but, listed them since they would be intriguing players that could be good fits for the Seahawks.

Anyway... I've got two boys who have never been to CenturyLink Field, to a Seahawks game, nor to any NFL game for that matter. They've only been out to a few Buccaneers practices. But, they are definitely Seahawks fans! It's awesome to see 2 of my kids beginning to share my lifelong passion for this team. It would be quite a trip and I hope to get another ticket near those seats to be able to take both of them to whichever Seahawks game it ends up being at CenturyLink Field for their very first NFL game experience!
