Two guys I'm rooting for as late round picks

  • CB Darius Slay and S Jamoris Slaughter. Both are right around 6 feet tall, can run, and can hit. Plus their names are cool.

  • Can you imagine a secondary with a Slay and a Slaughter in it?

  • I kind of hope the Hawks take a chance on Marques Wilson with one of their picks in the 7th. I think the kid is an idiot but he has high level talent. He ran pretty good and looked great in receiver drills. He really looked like a natural pass catcher. With the amount of young talent on the team and the amount of late draft picks I think they can afford to take some chances.

It would be fun to say "he just got slaughted" after a big hit.

Add that to what is currently existing - he got "Brownsized"

  • It just feels like these 2 should be Hawks.

Watch Slay's highlights, he plays like a hawks CB.
