  • Would be a terrible value in the 2nd given the other pressing needs of the team. He's a 2nd round talent to begin with.

I'd rather see where Thurmond is as the offseason progresses. Failing that see what Lane can do.

We don't need a nickel corner in rd 1-2 at this time.

  • Nicole corner and future insurance for Browner, who is 29 and in the last year of his contract.

Draft for future needs as well as present holes.

I think we know what we can expect from Thurmond by now.

    He means:

    1. Trufant is a 2nd rd talent, not 1st rd talent.
    2. Nickel corner with our 2nd rd pick is a bad value for the Hawks.

Whether you agree or not i leave to you.

You may be right, but this will be a contract year and he's only scheduled to make $575,000. I'm fine with letting him play it out as a Nickel CB.

Yeah... Blink and you miss the brief moments he's not sitting on the sideline with an injury of some sort. Ton of talent, but I don't really see a place for him on the team when his contract's up. DB is probably not a 1st or 2nd round priority for us this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if we drafted a DB in the middle rounds.
