Travis has a very big frame and actually trimmed some weight to move to LB this year when Leach hired Mike Breske to run the 3-4 D. He could have packed on another 15-20lbs to get up in the 270's and gave it a shot at DE, but I think sis pro potential is highest at linebacker and it was a very good move for the coaches to move him there this year.

He has outstanding pass-rush and run stopping abilities, great instincts and solid tackler, but a knock on him will be his ability to drop into coverage, which will be a work in progress since he's only played LB for a year. Total character guy, team first, work ethic and all that. A very deserving guy, who will make the most of his shot in the league and should have a good career if he can continue to develop at LB and stay healthy.

I think late 3rd round is a slightly generous but still a good projection for him, given his intangibles.

Also like to give a shot in the dark shout out to Jeff Tuel getting signed as our 3rd QB in free agency if he's not taken in the 6th or 7th(where he's projected right now). There are far worse QB's getting paid to hold clipboards in the league right now than Jeff, and if not for a freak collarbone injury, he'd have had a good junior season to build from and would probably be rated a little higher.
