After watching Leroy Hill's coverage issues, I'm pretty much on board with a versatile guy like Ogletree.

And now that I am, he'll no doubt shoot into the Top 5.

Go watch CJ Mosely too.

What's his name Greene from Rutgers is a badass too. Bit light though want to say he only weighs like 225-230.

I'd kill for Olgetree, dude can rush the passer, drop into coverage, he's fast, he's almost like a Pete Carroll dream LB.

I think Mosely is my favorite LB in this draft. And I say that in the same sense that Irvin and Wilson were my favorite players in the previous draft- that doesn't mean I would have drafted them #1 or #2 overall. I'd say it this way, I'd rather trade down to get Mosely at #25 than trade up to get Ogletree at #10. Nick Saban knows how to coach up linebackers. Mosely plays the college game in an NFL body, but he has the intelligence and tenacity of an unheralded walk on. He's got deceptive speed for a guy that looks bulky too. His overall game and the way he moves on the field remind me of Kam Chancellor. Some LBs are DE converts (e.g. Julian Peterson) and some LBs are S converts (e.g. Brian Urlacher). Mosely strikes me as the latter, and that's what Seattle really needs right now. Not that I'd complain about getting the next Julian Peterson- I just wouldn't pay twice as much for it.

I really like Mosley. I watch him and Ogletree back to back, and Mosley is the one I see doing what Hill never has. Mosley would give us three linebackers capable at all three linebacking spots.

Definatly does not look very good against the run. Looks to get blocked pretty easily. At least today against a very good Alabama o'line.

yeah i noticed that too. The Oline keep getting on him and taking him out the play pretty often. I dont know if its just me or if he was looking kinda lazy. The Mosley tip ball sealed the game, good way to end the game from him.

Thats exactly what I thought watching that game. Looks to be a great athlete, but based on just that one game, definatly do not want.

Didn't look lazy to me. If you want him fighting offensive lineman at the front then it isn't going to work. No other linebacker in college football has his skill set. I'm not sure what you expect from these guys if you're opinion of that performance today is 'definitely do not want'. Not many guys stop Ed Lacy stone dead on the goal line 1vs1.

All I expect is effort, and on many, many plays it looked like he wasnt trying. He Looked perfectly content to get blocked 10 yards down the field. Its one thing if youre stepping up into the hole to take on a linemen and get blocked, its an entirely different thing to have a lack of effort which i thought was very very clear and obvious.

Like I said, this is the first time i've ever watched Georgia, and I didnt pay any attention to him in the first half, but after reading this thread at halftime i watched him and was not at all impressed with his effort. Maybe that half wasnt a fair indicative of his play. Maybe if he was playing against a more pass happy or space oriented team then Alabama I would have been more impressed.

And i'm not saying definitively that I wouldnt want him because I havnt seen him enough to really form an opinion, just based off what i watched in the 2nd half (if thats indicative of his overall play) then I would not. But i'm no scout, i'm just a dude who watches football.
