  • Hilinski seems to be moving the offense pretty well, at least.

  • To the tune of 3 points in the first half. Did Leach hire bevel or something?

  • Leach's offensive philosophy is viscerally offensive to watch.

  • Leach refused to give specifics [at to why Luke Falk sat out the Holiday Bowl] and was condescending after the Cougars' 42-17 loss when asked about Falk's injury.

"I will tell you when you guys start getting invitations to these meetings and stuff you ask me about, when we ask you to the meeting we'll probably have some hors d'oeuvres, maybe tea, coffee, might even ask you what you like,” Leach said. “But you guys can figure about the time we start inviting you to these meetings is about the time we're going to tell you this stuff.”

"Luke is doing exactly what we want Luke to do, and Luke has had a fine career here and also done a great deal for this program, probably more than most people will ever realize," Leach said. "Tyler [Hilinski] was the ideal guy to start with our lineup today."

Pressed on Falk's injury, Leach said: "You will remain unclear on it. Next question."
