Never too early. I have a feeling Penny is going to rise up draft boards, so getting him that late would be a steal. I dont know most of those guys, but I like the positions. I'd probably go rb earlier though.

Im confused. How did you get so many picks. Are the team names next to the pick a team we traded w? Didn't we trade a 2 and 3 for Brown and Richardson?

On First-Pick.com, you can make trades, a lot of them pretty unrealistic in certain situations. There have been some of these mocks put up pushing 20 draft selections. That's just not gonna happen. Love the site for its fun factor, but some mechanics are wonky.

The first-pick.com website has a few problems. Their rankings, in general aren't very realistic on a lot of players. The scoring system is whacked, how can you have mostly all A's and A+'s and end with an overall score in the B's? When using this site (it is fun to play with) you must keep an eye on their tier 1/2/3 rankings, it always seems that there are only a couple of tier 2 guys leftover in Rd-5, both usually kickers, so to maximize your score, you have to take them there, although, this year two Rd-5 picks for a new place kicker and punter is likely a good thing as we could use them. Overall, this is a fun site to play with, although with somewhat unrealistic results, but I will still kill time there frequently as the draft approaches. Below is an example of the Rd-2 kickers that seem to always be available then and always get an A+.

Your score is: 19434 (GRADE: B+)

Your Picks: **AFTER trade-downs with DEN & CINN**

Round 2 Pick 6 (DEN): Billy Price, C/OG, Ohio State (A+)
Round 2 Pick 10 (CINN): Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame (A)
Round 4 Pick 6 (DEN): Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State (A)
Round 4 Pick 10 (CINN): Jaylen Samuels, FB, North Carolina State (A)
Round 4 Pick 21: Tyquan Lewis, DE, Ohio State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 4: Daniel Carlson, K, Auburn (A+)
Round 5 Pick 10 (CINN): JK Scott, P, Alabama (A+)
Round 5 Pick 23: Cedrick Wilson, WR, Boise State (A+) ---Steal--Rd-2/3 more realistic. IMO
Round 7 Pick 8: Davontae Harris, CB, Illinois State (A-) ---Steal--Rd-4/5 more realistic. IMO
Round 7 Pick 31: Marcell Ateman, WR, Oklahoma State (A-) ---Steal--Rd-3/4 more realistic. IMO
Round 7 Pick 32: Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State (C+) --- Steal--Rd-3/4 more realistic. IMO

1 trade down with the Pats they wanted a DE both Mcginchy and Nelson were still up so I gambled they would last through 2 picks and Nelson did. Got imo the best guard in the draft and a top 5 tackle as well as the best kicker a damn good running back another guard with talent but issues but I'm comfortable taking him late sixth. I also like Thomas and Harris.

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 23 (N.E.): Quenton Nelson, OG, Notre Dame (A)
Round 3 Pick 23 (N.E.): Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State (A+)
Round 4 Pick 21: Daniel Carlson, K, Auburn (A)
Round 5 Pick 4: Jordan Thomas, CB, Oklahoma (A)
Round 5 Pick 23: Bo Scarbrough, RB, Alabama (B+)
Round 6 Pick 23 (N.E.): Maea Teuhema, OG, LSU (A+)
Round 7 Pick 8: Davontae Harris, CB, Illinois State (B+)
Round 7 Pick 31: Kingsley Keke, DT, Texas AM (B+)
Round 7 Pick 32: Nick Washington, FS, Florida (B)

Most recent mock. Would probably replace Scott with the Texas punter but he didn't seem to be in the database either that or someone took him before the second round which is when I started checking on kickers and punters.

I did a lot of trading to build up picks. Not sure how realistic it is, but the Seahawks do tend to move down to acquire additional picks.

Round 2 Pick 5 (DEN): Ronnie Harrison, SS, Alabama (A-)
-- This guy has been compared to Kam Chancellor. I think Bradley MacDougald performed well this year, but I think his skillset is actually closer to Earl's than Kam's. This guy Harrison can absolutely unload on people. I think he'd be a great fit.

Round 2 Pick 28 (CAR): Mitch Hyatt, OT, Clemson (A)
-- This is the only offensive linemen I could find where I actually liked his tape. He plays at an elite level against elite teams. We should get him!

Round 3 Pick 5 (DEN): Sony Michel, RB, Georgia (C)
-- So First-pick didn't like this selection but the RB's were going fast (Chubb, Guice, Gaskin, etc. were all gone), and I wanted to get at least one of the great RB prospects in this draft. Michel was one of my favorites. He's physical and explosive, just watch his run that won the game for Georgia against Oklahoma.

Round 3 Pick 22 (CAR): Marquis Haynes, OLB/DE, Mississippi (B)
-- This guy is a pass rushing monster, but not much else. He's got a lanky LB build but played end at Miss. I would make him part of my NASCAR package for 3rd downs. Lord knows we need help on 3rd downs.

Round 3 Pick 28 (CAR): Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State (A-)
-- I consider this guy the best TE in the draft. An excellent receiver and blocker.

Round 4 Pick 18: Isaiah Wynn, OG, Georgia (A)
-- OK, I also liked Wynn's tape as well. This guy anchored the Georgia line and can play G or T. This guy is excellent, but we would need to keep Tom Cable away from him.

Round 5 Pick 4: Auden Tate, WR, Florida State (A-)
-- A bit of a project here, but this guy is big at 6-5, 225 and would be a very interesting target for Russ, especially if we let Jimmy go. He's very good with jump balls, attacks the ball high instead of waiting for it to come to him.

Round 5 Pick 31: Iman Marshall, CB, Southern California (C+)
-- Another project here but this guy has very good size and athleticism. Just remains to be seen if he has the desire. He's had some disappointing games for USC.

Round 7 Pick 6: Davin Bellamy, OLB, Georgia (C+)
Round 7 Pick 30: Eddy Pineiro, K, Florida (A+)
-- I have a policy of never taking kickers in the draft, but when it's the 7th round, I'll make an exception. This guy has a great leg and has hit a bunch of long FG's for an otherwise anemic offense.

Round 7 Pick 32: James Looney, DT, California (A-)
-- This guy has terrific game film! I think he could be a tremendous steal in the 7th. Seems to slip by blocks and get penetration into the backfield with regularity.
