Touchdown Washington! Gaskin sets the career rushing TD record.

Edit: And of course Vizciano misses the extra point. :229031_banghead:

Washington gives up a long TD pass play, then fall asleep on an onside kick. Utah has the lead and the ball in UW territory.

Browning sets the Husky career record for touchdown passes on a play that perfectly encapsulates his career to this point. He hesitates on throwing the quick pass, losing the opportunity, then runs around like a chicken with its head cut off before dumping it off to a running back 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Coleman then does all the work, including trucking a defender at the 2 yard line to get to the goal line.

He’s 10-11 for 107 yards and a TD.

Just broke TD record and got them to a national semifinal last year.

You think THAT play encapsulates his career? Come on

Might encapsulate his last few weeks though.

He's a system QB who's made to look better than he is by the players around him. He puts up good stats but he can't carry the team when they need him to.

Saw him carry the team plenty last year. He has weapons, sure, but he used them very very well. Not many college QBs out there making their WRs look better than they are

Edit: I’ll say this.. the staff doesn’t trust him like last year. That’s another 3rd and decent yards to go they’ve run it not got the first.

He’s not a Heisman winner or top draft pick, but I think it’s a little harsh to disparage his contributions to the Huskies successes these past two years.

Washington's secondary is straight garbage. Utah's moving the ball at will by simply throwing jump balls downfield.

Browning has always been a garbage QB. Or at least a mediocre one.

The only reason we think he was good is because contrasted to that guy that accosted a few Seahawks fans because he was a Denver fan, he looks better than terrible.

Last year, his offense was chuck it up to Ross and a few times Ross would just wait for the ball because Browning was not accurate even then. And last year he had Ross AND Pettis, and Gaskin.

This year, he doesn't. He looks like a QB that would play in the Big 10 or something, not a Pac12 QB.

But I am really hoping someone beat him out next year. Probably not though. He doesn't lose games for you but he sure as hell won't win you any. Honestly, with the team we have, I would trade Browning for the Utah QB straight up.

Hopefully our defense and the RBs can at least keep us in this game. Nothing about Browning impressed me. Not his freshman year, not last year and sure as hell not this year.
