It's been reported a shoulder problem that came up late after the combine.

    Exactly.

I like moving down 3 spots at this stage for a mid fourth. Thats a good deal. I love that deal. There's gonna be good picks on the board at 34 just like 31.

  • 49ers improved A LOT today. Their fans have to be extremely pleased.

Not sure we will pick until end of day three. Just keep trading down until we have 32 7th round picks.

It also allows them to regroup and reevaluate their bird overnight with such a crazy draft ...

    Who's that?

I'd say that there are a lot of guys in that organization who still remember the impact that Ozzie Newsome had for that team. When I look at Njoku ... I see a guy who I believe has that kind of potential.

I have no clue but I doubt they would be trading down if there was a huge risk of not getting the guy, or type of guy they were after.

PC/JS are smart, they have a good idea of who's looking for what.

Least that's my opinion of the situation.

From 9ers. I think we wanted Obi all along but could get extra picks along the way. Now we have 10 picks.

    Two 7ths.

I suppose it is just the insanity of the click-bait culture. They say you can't grade a draft for 3 years, yet you have people making crazy doomsday proclamations after 1 round.

What's your thoughts? You were obviously scared of us drafting Melifonwu, guessing you had other hopes but now those are gone. Who do you want now?

  • Hawks have 6 picks tomorrow (at the moment) and all of my favorites still on the board.

The Hawks have a great shot at Obi, Budda or King. Then have another 2nd and four 3rds. This is going to be a great draft for the Hawks and they didn't have to trade Sherman.

So Sherman, Chancellor, Russell Wilson, were all meaningless and more so since two were after the 3rd, they must have been throw away picks.

  • Assuming the Hawks didn't have a first round grade on Foster, we gave the Niners very little for the trade. He would have been taken before we had a second round pick.

Only thing I don't like about it is losing the fifth year option.

I like the Hawks approach. Always makes me feel like the adult is in the room.
