    Alamo Bowl

I really want Hakeem Butler from Iowa St on the Hawks. He is the big outside WR they have always been missing

    The Legacy of Jake Browning

Browning is probably the least talented statistically impressive QB I have ever seen. The dude has such an unimpressive physical profile and skill set, it really is remarkable. To me, his legacy is that he was the QB on some good teams during a time when the PAC 12 was mostly crap, and he was...

    Penny And Past Hawks Backs

Truly looked like JAG out there. Nothing he did was particularly impressive. Had one nice run but it wasn’t anything that any other NFL-caliber RB wouldn’t have done

5 star LB Kaho asks out of UW letter of intent

Obviously the “death in the family” stuff was just pretext so he could flip to Bama. CFB recruiting is the slimiest industry out there

There are Doubters, then there's This Guy

If it happens to the Hawks this year PC is probably done

    Pick #146 Tre Flowers

Man the lowlights must be low because that video makes the dude look like a first rounder. So Seahawky. Seems like a great pick

    #79 Rasheem Green, USC

Great pick, this one. Can’t really take any issue with the team addressing a position of need with a young, ultra high upside player from a big time program.

    Is it a big reach?

Obviously a reach but not even this regime’s biggest reach. Bruce Irvin and James Carpenter immediately come to mind as bigger reaches

Seahawks asking for a 1st from the Cowboys for Earl

Trade him now. The team has already been burned with the previous 3 big money third contracts they gave to Lynch, Kam, and Bennett. It’s bad business. Get something for him while you can and rebuild the D.

Jacob Eason Interview on KJR Today

He will be the number 1 overall pick in either the 2020 or 2021 draft

    Jaron Brown visiting: Update- signed

Good signing. Glad to see them get away from short and skinny WRs.

    Should we release John Schneider?

He needs to draft better and stop overpaying in trades. I would consider moving on if this draft doesn’t look good. Fact is the drafting has been poor for 3 years running. That is his most important job and he is underperforming

What Are Your Expectations For The 2018 Seahawks?

With the apparent dismantling of the defense that has begun today and the fact we’ve got almost a totally new coach staff, it’s gonna be rough. If the Cards get a QB and the 49ers have a good offseason, I see the Hawks as the worst team in the division this year.

    "Holdout" news of Earl Thomas

Great post and summary of the situation. You described exactly what the struggle is. Everyone knows there is no true ET replacement in the short term, and the question is whether now is the time to move on for long-term salary cap health. I personally do not want to see him get a giant 3rd...

    Read Rob Staton's blog

Only issue I have is he recently changed the site design and it looks terrible on a phone

Myles Gaskin Returning to UW for Senior Year

Seems like a huge mistake. I get that that is a loaded RB class, but there is literally nothing left for him to prove to NFL scouts and put on film. He’s done it all for 3 years. All he is doing now is putting more wear on the tires and risking catastrophic injury.

Schwartz: Seahawks’ OL mistakes start with draft approach

This has been true and going on for 4 years now. Why did the media continue to slobber over Cable the guru until the end, and only once he was finally fired several years too late does anyone actually publicly point out what a bad job he was doing?

    Ifedi on Cable

Ironically, Ifedi’s only chance to succeed in the NFL is getting with a competent OL coach and not Cable

    Thank you Pete and John

Yep I also called for PC to be fired, on the basis of keeping Cable and the penalties. I am thrilled he did the right thing here that I did not believe he was capable of, and thus I am happy to eat crow and give him another chance. Fix the penalties though Pete, for real.
