    Denver receiving corp without PM?

For DT and decker, they showed a lot of potential pre-PM, but having PM and WW has really helped them develop. JT never had much play time so he is harder to judge.

    No DPOY from Seatle

Not a fan of Kuechly. Think Mathis should have won with Earl second cos Mathis had the stats to go with the performance. Earl will likely win it soon enough. Earl is the best defensive player on the seahawks imo but I am less sold on sherman. I see Earl being a great safety in any defensive...

Who has the better WR corps?

Extrapolate his numbers - are you kidding me? So I can extrapolate the number of rushing attempts and conclude that both Moreno and Montee are better than Beast Mode? Yes seahawks are a run first team, but have you considered that your team relies so much on the run because of the quality of...

Keys to the Game: That they don't talk about.

I would think sending an LB up the field would disrupt your zone coverage and being an RB, and hitting would be less effective against KM unlike a small WR like welker. Also if that LB misses, it could result in a big play as you now have one less tackler back there - I dont see PC taking that...

Who has the better WR corps?

There needs to be a limit on fanboism. Its quite amusing (and insulting to DT) that Baldwin is being compared to DT. Here is a 3rd party ranking: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... -receivers Tier #1: Well-rounded playmakers (1. Calvin Johnson, 2. Larry Fitzgerald, 3. A.J. Green, 4...

Keys to the Game: That they don't talk about.

The biggest problem all defenses have with the denver's offense is that they can attack you in almost anyway possible (and KM is a big part of that) and you cant defend all of them. Thus you have to pick your poison. Add manning who will almost call the best play against what the defense...

Who has the better WR corps?

Before Manning, DT was the sophomore that burned the Pittsburgh defense ( #1 passing D, #1 scoring, #1 overall) in the 2011 wild card game for 204 yds and 1 (winning) TD with Tebow throwing to him.

    OT: Stafford is useless imo.

Sea= Mediocre offense, vs DEN= unstoppable offense??

Grasping at straws - really? That is quite funny. You called a play that was never made a pick and I called a pass that was never made a catch - those are not so different as they are both hypothetical and never happened. How close it came to happening is irrelevant cos they didnt. Using 'IF'...

Sea= Mediocre offense, vs DEN= unstoppable offense??

Being rounded is of little of little consequence when compared to matchups. You dont get points for being rounded. in fact in the NFL, you are usually better served by being very good in one phase of the game and being as good as you can be in the others. If (for whatever reason) the broncos...

Sea= Mediocre offense, vs DEN= unstoppable offense??

For the context being discussed, yes the turnovers in question were irrelevant. As to manning throwing a 'pick' against SD, given the defender didnt complete the catch, it was NOT a pick! Its like saying that SF would be in the SB if the pass to Craptree would have been an inch higher - it...

Sea= Mediocre offense, vs DEN= unstoppable offense??

Yes Seahawks led the league in INTs but then you can also counter that they played against poorer QBs and offenses. The drive stats were presented to support that the offense moved the ball well but played more conservatively as opposed to an aggressive quick scoring approach. Turnovers dont...

Sea= Mediocre offense, vs DEN= unstoppable offense??

Dont see how I have proved the point of the thread (assuming there was a point in the first place) In football, your game plan is highly dependent on the opposition and the game flow. There is no need for the Broncos to be conservative offensively against the seahawks - seattle do not pose the...

Sea= Mediocre offense, vs DEN= unstoppable offense??

there were 2 (not 3) turnovers against SD - a questionable fumble by JT in which the ball was ripped out after a first down completion, and an INT in the end zone. Neither is relevant to the ability to move the ball imo.

Sea= Mediocre offense, vs DEN= unstoppable offense??

In the playoffs, Broncos have been trying to keep the ball for longer to protect their defense (lessons from the regular season). Both SD and NE had good enough QBs and weapons to rip the our defense a new one. Yes, Denver offense could put up quick scores, but it would have likely backfired...

    Percy Harvin the difference maker

I am impressed that you can read into the mind of the Denver safeties in the future. Harvin wont get special treatment until he earns it. Any WR matched to a slower CB will likely get safety help but that doesnt make him a decoy. Unless seahawks are playing against saints on Sunday, I dont see...

Who has the better WR corps?

Denver has the best receiving corps in the league, period. Seattle corps, if fully fit, should be top 10 but that has rarely been the case. Harvin and Rice have spent too much of their time on the sidelines. Each of Bay-Bay, Decker, and Welker could arguably be the #1 option on most NFL...

Who is quicker as a team... Seattle or Denver?

Dont think it would even be close, particularly on defense. The seahawks are more athletic and much younger. Off the top of my head, Denver's speedsters would be Holiday, DT, Decker, DRC and Carter. But there is so much more to the game than speed.
