Predict the pick- Seahawks 1st pick is...

I got the position right, but the wrong guy. I think there will be a lot of 12s eyeing the career of Patrick Queen the next several years. Hopefully it goes the Hawks way like Bobby Wagner (47th in 2012) vs Mychal Kendricks (46th) did in back to back picks.

Poll on Seahawks first pick vs draft grade

There has been talk that given the circumstances, the mocks will be off this year quite a bit more than most, so there probably will be a lot of picks viewed as reaches.

Jets SS Calvin Pryor for Ifedi? Speculation

Year 2 for year 4, I assume, would not be a straight up trade, despite Ifedi's issues.. and it's not as though we didn't have RT need and elected not to use him in that role. Pryor is the type of walk-year trade that gets done for a mid round pick, not player for player

    Seahawks redraft: 2013

SI's regrading of Seahawks 2013 draft was not pretty... When picking first at #62 there's a good chance of that I guess. Keep that Harvin pick and use it on a receiver in that range, DeAndre Hopkins, even with everything else as it was from that point on, and maybe a three-peat and a much...

    Trade w/Denver

Peter King indicated a 2nd and a 4th was what Dallas offered Seahawks. For the intent of drafting the same player though, Lynch, they had offered a 2nd and third to teams in the 18-22 area. But they're on a clock and can't go back and forth too much. Cleveland reportedly had an interest in Ifedi...

5th round, Pick #147, Quinton Jefferson, DT, Maryland

Don't like this pick, seeing it apparently required a 2017 4th to the AFC evil empire. Wasn't projected by anyone this high, more like 7th.. so let him come to you.

Reminds me of the Carp pick.

the abilities of Carp wasn't the issue, it was initial conditioning and perhaps not coincidentally early injury. Best ability is availability.

Who would we have picked at #26

I'll go the unlisted option E. No way Garnett... Butler, perhaps

    Other trade offer for 26

Jason La Canfora suggested Browns wanted Ifedi at #32, probably had more to do with going with Denver offer than 5th year option. And if they liked Lynch internally they'd prefer him with an AFC team.

Let's see your final mock drafts

This is the fanspeak composite big board, picking nobody above the Seahawks slots... Pete and John get another Bielema QB with great efficiency but questions about size, this time mostly about hands. 26 OT JACK CONKLIN - MICHIGAN STATE 56 OLB SU'A CRAVENS - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 90 DT HASSAN...

Josh Norman to the Redskins, 5 years, $75 million

the oddity is that the Panthers did offer him the tag in the first place, that he had plenty of time to sign with the cap ramifications, and the Panthers knew he was looking to get the highest CB contract. Doing this makes it more likely they'll get a lesser compensatory pick in return with...

Some Prospects I'd Love to see in a Seahawk Uni.

I'll add a very under the radar guy, Trevon Hartfield of SW Oklahoma State, who fits a lot of the Seahawk elements of an ideal corner. 6'2", a former WR and QB, a gunner on punts, a kick returner, a ball hawk, a hard hitter, seeks contact and seeks the ball, and was top D-II SR in passes...

    first-pick 2016 draft

There's also http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/ draft simulator, which includes the projected compensatory picks. They have Maxwell I guess as a 4th round comp.
