    I'd give him decent contract with low guarantees. If he has a great 2019, no sense in having him be bitter about being on minimum. If he doesn't do well, cut him or restructure. No one has to lose in this case.

    It's definitely a routine approach to freeing up cap room. I think Baldwin did this last time. This raises our cap numbers for future years though.

    Last year, our defense was in a funk when Wagner was out. Can't fault a teams fan base for pointing out they were missing 3 of their higher profile players on D. Doesn't change the ultimate outcome obviously. I think minne gets steamrolled this week.

    Stylistically, he looks like he's shot of a cannon and he runs hard. To my eye at least, its an illusion. Despite the way he runs, he doesn't look like he breaks many tackles. It's just not as obvious as arm-tackle-turbin or Alexander breaking tackles but then running out of bounds...

    It's fun to watch but his college coaches quotes are a bit of a concern. With marshawn showing up week in week out(till recently) we might have developed a false sense of reality with regards to what can be expected out of someone who runs this way health wise. Marion barber comes to mind.
