    Championship lessons

If the GOAT is your QB, you stand a reasonable chance of winning every game you're in. The offense is perfectly designed around Brady's strengths and minimizes his weaknesses (long ball). There is no one better at driving the offense when there is blood in the water. We witnessed it in the Super...

    Pay Wilson Or Not..

So you're basically saying we won the Super Bowl because we had an excellent Defense and a great Offense which included a great running back and a good to great QB? You left out the most important person out of that equation - our future HOF coach, who coaxed an elite defense out of multiple...

    Pay Wilson Or Not..

Yes. This. Duh. Some stats: Most passing yards in a playoff game by a rookie: 385 Most regular season wins by a quarterback in his first two seasons (24); most total wins in first two seasons (28, including playoffs) Most regular season wins by a quarterback in his first three seasons: 36...

Our SB winning formula is toast

Wilson is a franchise QB. No one is unloading our franchise QB - they don't come around that often. The Saints had how many losing seasons with Brees under center? Chargers? How many times have the Steelers made it to the Super Bowl with Roethlisberger?

What have you learned from the Playoffs so far?

And got smoked at home by the Rams when we had the opportunity?

    Still a problem for players

It is entirely the fault of Jermaine Kearse for not setting "the pick" that was supposed to clear out Butler. Probably explains why, in future games, he sucked so bad at the rub route pick - making up for his mistake. Its a bang bang play that they had run successfully many times during the...

What should have happened with this team

+1 ...not paying to have a decent oline and letting Max Unger walk were more impactful. Lynch got eaten alive his last year here and, as a result, got injured.

Has Winning A Super Bowl Changed How You Cope?

Agreed. As a fan since the 70s, this has been far and away the best stretch of Seahawks football I've enjoyed. Winning the Super Bowl released a psychological burden from me - in part because it was the Super Bowl, but mostly because it was the Donkeys! I have so many memories of the original...

Why is the pass rush so underwhelming again?

Can't have both. And losing Cliff Avril early eliminated one of the best speed rushers in the NFL. Look at the Broncos with Von Miller. Without Demarcus Ware, easily contained and double teamed. Frank Clark isn't a good fit as an edge rusher.

    Pete has to go

Because there were so many before Pete Carroll??? You have got to be kidding me. The Seahawks, as depleted and battered as they are, have never been this consistently good. We have had a few seasons of above average, one excellent season and a whole wack of mediocre Same Old Seahawks teams For...

Training Camp: Wilson looks good. Earl Thomas a little slow.

Evan at 80%, he's better than 90% of the Free Safety's in this league

What has been our most disappointing season ever? Is it 2016

1984. And every other year that goddamn horse toothed jackass dashed our playoff hopes. Precisely why I have and always will hate Denver. Whipping their asses in the Super Bowl was, by far, the greatest sporting event I have ever seen. Full disclosure, I now live in Denver, so it has given me...

I think it's time to churn the team a bit. (My opinion 100%)

Only on this board is getting to a fifth consecutive franchise history divisional round a "rebuilding year". You're kidding me, right? There were multiple years when we weren't even close to making the playoffs....years, man years...this team sucked ass. The 80s were tough. Pete has this team in...

    Window Has Closed?

Surprised no one is discussing the exceptionally poor play of Steven Terrell. I don't have the stats but the dude was lost out there. Indecisive, shit loads of missed tackles etc. Falcons were clearly targeting him...it's why Sherm had to line up so deep on Julio, couldn't trust the over the top...

    Cable threw a change up.

That had a lot to do with Reese - having him "set the table" for those guys on those power runs made them way more effective, timing-wise.
