    More likely they put more value in the draft capital than their perceived drop at back up QB. Also, being a Pete disciple, Quinn probably thought he could pull Russel Wilson out of his ass in the 5th round to replace Howell.

    Hurt was just one choice in a long line of bad choices that, among other things, contributed to Pete losing his job. You eliminate half of those things and there is probably still 4 times what was needed to justify moving on.
