That's a dumb deal from the Bills but at least they don't have to pay a kicker $9M if they chose to release that said kicker. Like some team's front office did.
Did not realize that. Thanks for the info. Giving that contract to Myers was a really bad move by the Seahawks FO. Kickers are a dime a dozen,. Unless you are Justin Tucker, no kicker deserves $5M/yr deal.
It's time move on from Jason Myers. I hope Schneider has Jake Bates on speed dial -

Being optimistic while having Shane Waldron running the offense seems very oxymoronic to me. We've experienced the "Waldron magic" in Seattle. It leaves a lot to be desired.
This gives me the Ben Obomanu and Courtney Taylor vibes....both players (WRs from Auburn) were underwhelming. Hopefully it's not the same case for these guys. I thought they were wasted picks as CB was further down the list of needs in my opinion. They already had Artie Burns, Mike Jackson, Tre...
I'm not sold on the Rams being that much better than the Seahawks at this point. Yes, they had a better record by 1 game last year and that was with Aaron Donald still playing. They lost their best defensive player to retirement. Plus they have a new DC since their former is now the HC in...
Thanks for the clarification on Sounders moving due to the league wide agreement. That definitely makes sense. I think they would have preferred to stay on the local channels to keep their popularity growing.
I don't believe most people thought much about KJ Wright or Bobby Wagner prior to them becoming Seahawk draft choices. Yet they ended up with solid to great career on the field. Hopefully, Tyrice Knight has a similar path in his career. We'll soon find out.
It's a good thought but pro football doesn't work that way. You can't just plug any big guy and expect same results. Poona Ford had more success plugging the middle than Mone did and he's about 30-40 pds lighter than Mone. Sweat > Mone. Remember when the Seahawks had Brandon Mebane....he was...
I don't agree. There were 6 games in which the Seahawks scored 16 points or less. They lost all of those games. The defense was terrible but the offense wasn't very good either.
Overall it was a good draft. Really can't say much until these guys get on the field and play. That will determine how well this draft was. I was not enamored with them picking 2 CBs. They have plenty of DBs already on the roster.
