I am a fan of BOTH teams, and I agree with your post completely. But, don't lose sight of the fact that the common thread with both Lombardy trophies was home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Denver would not have beaten New England on the road last year. And Seattle got demolished on...
I blame Bevel. But I'm also sick of Wison waiting until there are only 3 minutes left in the game to be great.
It's as if he's trying to recapture the magic of the Green Bay playoff game. Enough already! Be great for 4 quarters!
Even if that isn't true, I really, REALLY want to believe that it's true!
The fact that the shoes in the picture were green just means that his career as a Seattle Seahawk is over.
I respectfully disagree. Beastmode is done in Seattle. But not in Oakland. Even some of the insiders on the NFL network are predicting that Lynch's playing days aren't over, and that he'll likely end up with the Raiders.

Here's an article from almost exactly a year ago speculating on Lynch eventually ending up in Oakland:

The Raiders might be willing to compensate the Hawks. Didn't they give up something to Cincy for Carson Palmer after he "retired"? Lynch would command less than a starting QB, so the price wouldn't be too steep. And the Hawks would probably give Lynch a hometown discount.
It's really ironic how the pundits on the NFL Network and ESPN publicly annointed Cam as "the new face of the NFL" and the heir-apparent to Peyton Manning, in part based on the expectation that Carolina was going to destroy Denver.
Except, no one told these clowns that you can't simply declare...
Is there ANY chance that Lynch might change his mind and "un-retire" only to play a final season with the Raiders?
I always imagined him returning to his roots and finishing out his career within shouting distance of the HQ for his charitable work in the Bay Area.
Stranger things have happened.
I'm sure this has already been covered in another thread, but how serious was the injury? Did it require surgery and screws, or was it a clean break that just needs some quiet time in a cast to heal?
This is an epic ass kicking. Lynch can't run, Wilson can't pass or scramble, the line can't block, the defense can't get pressure on Newton, and the Hawks can't stop the rumor the pass.
EDIT: and they can't convert on 4th and 5.
Are Wilson's poor stats in the 1st quarter his fault or the fault of crap-ola play calling by Darrell Bevel?
In the frozen tundra game in Minnesota, Bevel made 2 major "natural science" blunders that shows what an idiot he is.
The first two passes in that game required receivers to look back...
Don't be worried. This has about as much chance of happening as Bill Belichick leaving the New England Patriots to become the head coach of the Cleveland Browns -- the team where he began his coaching career -- to show the world that he's capable of making two teams great.
This will never...
