I know there is a crowded WR room, but he really does need more play time. He is a monster run blocker. On one of the 3rd downs late in the 4th, he was wide open running across the middle and Geno turned to check down to Charbonnet right before Bobo crossed his vision. Would have been an easy 1st.

He's a baller who just knows how to play the game and maximize his talent.

So nice to FINALLY see one of our tall receivers actually get used in the red zone the way we have anticipated size to play a factor. So may times we have had tall WR or TE that we think "man, they are gonna really halp us in the red zone". Well, today, Bobo showed exactly what that can look like.

So happy for both our receiving corps.

Bobo made a fantastic form catch , foot control ,no question whether he had possession. Can't say enough about it .

Hell yeah I grind my feet in his couch .

He did and honestly, I think he may have earned some more snaps going forward with that one catch today.

I like that Geno recognized he was getting open and that he should be looking for him more, and told him as much on the sidelines so that Bobo knew he just needed to keep doing what he was doing.

Bobo is the team's secret weapon.

He's gonna score a lot of TDs this year as opponents are going to be more worried about DK, Lockett, K9, JSN, and the TEs.

Bobo and DK, I think would be the best blocking WR duo in the league. Which is interesting thought to have down the road.

Bobo was the highest rated of all WRs for run blocking per PFF.

I'm gonna refrain from going on a long rant about Bobo and how amazed I am with the guy. The simple truth is, this guy is a baller! Ask him to do whatever, and he'll excel at it.

That timing margin of the QB getting the ball off vs taking a hard hit or sack is so small... Looking at Geno's TD throw to Bobo, Geno released it, then got hit a split second later.

I think the play you're talking about was about the 6:35 mark of the 4th quarter. It looked like Geno's internal alarm clock was going off, and his vision was potentially obscured in a compressed pocket where he couldn't pick up Bobo, or perhaps didn't think Bobo had enough separation. It turned out Geno had perhaps another half-second to full-second to find Bobo. Geno chose Charbonnet, hoping Charbonnet could make a guy miss and get the first, but Carolina's pursuit was too quick to the ball. Maybe Geno thought a throw to Bobo could potentially get popped up by a closing defender hitting Bobo as the ball arrived, with risk of a tipped pick. That's the reality for an NFL QB, razor-thin margins to make a decision. I'm sure glad I don't have to make decisions that quick in everyday life!
